Two become One!

Updated Monday October 23, 2017 by Sally Boac.

Fremont Cal Ripken Baseball and Fremont National Youth Baseball, two great leagues in their own right, have combined into one new dominant Baseball league.

Their new name will be Fremont National Youth Baseball, a Division of Cal Ripken Baseball.

This is a dream come true for many.  Both of these leagues have been active within the Fremont Tri-City community for over 50 years and in all those decades they have taught and will continue to teach children how to play the great game of Baseball.;

Combining will provide our children more competitive games, to play deeper into the post-season, and the opportunity to play in State, Regional, and National Champtionship tournaments - all in a safe, friendly, and fun family-oriented environment.

The former Fremont Cal Ripken league is leaving the Holy Spirit fields and the new league will continue to call the former FNYB fields at Brier Elementary School Home.

Congratulations to all those involved in making this major step forward happen.  Both Boards of Directors worked tirelessly and they have clearly done an admirable job.  We look forward to another 50 years of excellent youth baseball, America's true favorite past-time.
